Outside of tech, he is a competitive barbecuer, with a team of long time friends who create award winning BBQ. Highly involved in the Kansas City Smart City initiative, he created an award winning iOT solution around smarter living experience for tenants and more profitable infrastructure for building owners and managers. This solution quickly turned into the company known as Homebase.
